About The Role
As the Team Manager – Homes First, you will lead a multidisciplinary team dedicated to creating lasting change for people experiencing homelessness.
This is a unique opportunity to play a key leadership role in our Housing First pilot program, supporting individuals and families to secure safe, stable housing while improving their wellbeing and connection to community.
Leading a team of skilled practitioners, you will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and person centred practice.
Working closely with internal and external partners, you will guide high quality service delivery and help shape a program that is transforming homelessness support across regional Victoria.
The Homes First program delivers flexible, wraparound, trauma-informed support grounded in Housing First principles — recognising that safe, secure housing is a fundamental human right and the foundation for recovery, independence, and long-term stability.
This is a part-time permanent opportunity working ***** hours per fortnight, based in Shepparton.
The role will see you working collaboratively across our Wodonga, Wangaratta and Shepparton regions.
What You Can Expect
In the role, you will:
Lead day-to-day service delivery and program implementation
Mentor and coach staff to deliver best-practice, client-centred support
Embed Housing First principles across all practice
Ensure high-quality case management and positive client outcomes
Oversee program performance, reporting, and compliance requirements
Build robust relationships with housing services and community partners




Contribute to strategic growth and continuous improvement
About You
You'll bring:
A relevant tertiary qualification (Social Work, Psychology, Social Science or similar)
Demonstrated leadership experience, including staff supervision and performance management
Strong knowledge of the homelessness and/or family violence sector
Understanding of Housing First and trauma-informed practice
Experience in case management frameworks and strengths-based approaches
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
