Casual Medical Receptionist part time
We are seeking a friendly, reliable, and professional Casual Medical Receptionist to join our practice.
This role is ideal for someone who is flexible, enjoys working in a fast-paced medical environment, and is available to provide cover for planned leave and unexpected staff absences.
About the Role
As the first point of contact for our patients, you will play an important role in providing excellent customer service while supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming patients with a warm and professional manner
- Answering and directing phone calls
- Booking and managing appointments
- Processing Medicare and EFTPOS payments
- Managing patient records and maintaining confidentiality
- Assisting doctors and the clinical team with administrative tasks
- General reception and administrative duties
About You




- Previous experience in a medical reception role is preferred
- Experience with Best Practice software is highly regarded
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities
- Qualified presentation and a positive attitude
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexible availability to work weekdays and occasional Saturdays when required
