About the role
INSESA is seeking a dedicated and enthusiasticElectrician Apprenticeto join our growing team in Ormeau, Queensland.
This is afull-time apprenticeship positionthat offers an excellent opportunity to develop your skills in the electrical trade whilst working alongside experienced professionals.
As an apprentice, you will gain hands-on experience in all aspects of electrical work in maintenance and repairs.
This role is perfect for someone who is keen to learn, takes pride in their work, and is committed to building a rewarding career in the electrical industry.
Key responsibilities
Assisting qualified electricians with maintenance and repair of electrical systems and equipment
Learning and applying safe electrical practices and procedures on all jobs
Preparing and organising tools, materials and equipment for electrical work
Testing electrical systems and equipment under supervision to ensure they function correctly
Maintaining accurate records of work completed and hours spent on jobs
Attending scheduled apprenticeship training sessions and completing required coursework
Following all health and safety regulations and site-specific safety protocols
Assisting with general workshop tidying and keeping work areas clean and organised
What we're looking for
Currently enrolled in or committed to undertaking a recognised electrical apprenticeship program
A strong work ethic, reliability and commitment to completing your apprenticeship
Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship
Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
A genuine interest in learning the electrical trade and developing technical expertise
Physical fitness and the ability to work in various environments and conditions
A valid Australian driver's licence
A positive attitude towards health and safety practices
