Geelong Medical Health Group is seeking an experiencedGeneral Practitioner Doctorto join our team on acontract/casual/part-time basisin Geelong, VIC ****.

What you'll be doing
Conducting thorough patient consultations and clinical assessments across a broad spectrum of medical conditions
Diagnosing and managing acute and chronic diseases using evidence-based clinical practices
Performing preventative health screenings and health promotion activities
Managing patient records and maintaining detailed, accurate medical documentation
Prescribing medications and other treatments in accordance with clinical guidelines and best practice
Referring patients to specialists and allied health services when clinically appropriate
Collaborating with nursing staff and administrative team members to ensure seamless patient care
Maintaining professional development and keeping abreast of current medical practice standards
Contributing to the smooth operation of the practice and supporting quality improvement initiatives




What we're looking for
Current Australian Medical Registration with the Medical Board of Australia.
you MUST be registered with AHPRA and be eligible for a medicare provider number.
Completion of recognised medical degree and appropriate clinical training
Current General Practitioner training or equivalent experience demonstrating competency in general practice
Strong clinical knowledge across primary healthcare disciplines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to engage diverse patient populations
Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively and prioritise clinical workload
Commitment to ongoing professional development and lifelong learning
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Current CPR/First Aid certification
Working With Children Check (WWCC) clearance or willingness to obtain (if required by role)
Preferred: Experience in general practice in the Australian healthcare system
Preferred: Knowledge of common chronic disease management protocols
