About The Role
You will play a vital role in ensuring a welcoming and professional front-of-house experience for residents, families & visitors; managing communications, supporting administration systems, and contributing to a warm and well-run residence.
Our Receptionists are highly valued and are an integral part of the operational team, bringing warmth and professionalism to every interaction.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
Welcoming residents, visitors and families, creating a positive and inviting atmosphere
Managing incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate departments or individuals and handling general inquiries and messages efficiently
Scheduling appointments for residents to see medical professionals, therapists or other service providers as needed
Staff Scheduling: Developing and maintaining staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for all shifts and to meet the care requirements of residents.
This involves coordinating the availability of different staff members, taking into account their qualifications, preferences, and contractual obligations.
Managing Shift Changes: Handling requests for shift changes, leave, or time off and finding suitable replacements when necessary to maintain staffing levels.
Registering and monitoring visitors, ensuring security and safety protocols are followed
Providing information and assistance to residents and their families, addressing their queries and concerns and connecting them with the appropriate staff members when necessary
Assisting with administrative tasks, such as rostering, filing, data entry, maintaining records, mail and deliveries
Skills & Experience
Sound administrative skills with the ability to support rostering and team member allocations
Experience using employee scheduling software such as Humanforce or Time Target (desirable)
Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn
Collaborative approach
Friendly and effective communication abilities
