Capel Crane Hire consists of a main servicing and maintenance division whose expertise and solutions provide support our wide range of fleet vehicles that provide transport and lifting solutions both locally and statewide.
About the role
Due to growth within Capel Crane Hire, we are looking for an experienced and skilled HD Mechanic to join our expanding workshop division.
The positions primary task is to maintain and service our fleet of mobile cranes and transport equipment.
We offer a excellent work environment and competitive remuneration plus penalties for the right candidate.
This is a full-time role based in our Capel yard - with 10 hour days, Monday to Friday
To be considered for this role, you will require:




A strong work ethic with the ability to work under pressure and to problem solve on the go.
The ability to work independently as well as working alongside our leadership team
The knowledge to carry out diagnostics, modifications and preventative maintenance.
Ability to prioritise to ensure scheduled and unscheduled work orders are completed in a timely and safe manner.
A Trade Certificate as a Plant Mechanic or Diesel Fitter.
Valid Driver's Licence (Truck licence desirable).
Previous experience in a Crane Technician role.
Product knowledge of Liebherr, Terex and Tadano.
