Shift: Monday to Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Forklift Operator contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Operators are responsible for optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency, managing inventory with RF scanning equipment, and transporting valuable items while maintaining diligence and good hand‐eye coordination.
Essential Job Functions
Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).
Check purchase orders or work orders to ensure products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.
Verify item counts to ensure correct assembly.
Assist in inventory level maintenance and inventory counts.
Load finished product onto trucks and unload products from trucks, containers, and stock them in designated areas.
Ensure quality control: no damaged products are sent out or stored.
Operate within standard operating procedures.
Operate forklifts and/or pallet jacks.
Perform preventive maintenance on forklifts and pallet jacks.
Move inventory into and out of controlled locations.
Secure loads to the machine before transportation.
Prepare customers' orders for delivery.
Pick and wrap orders for shipment.
Provide fill‐in support for other departments in the warehouse.
Optimize loads to ensure operational efficiency.
Adhere to safety management standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills, and Ability
The successful candidate will be able to use forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment, organize and prioritize tasks, follow written and/or oral instructions, and handle a physically demanding workload, including lifting over 50 pounds. Fluency in reading, speaking, and writing English is required, as is the ability to work under various time constraints. Candidates must be physically strong, agile, and undeterred by heights or adverse climatic conditions. A positive work history and reliable attendance are essential. Availability for extended hours is required.
Other Working Conditions
Operators may spend time in a refrigerated section (cooler and freezer). Machinery operation requires safety equipment, including steel‐toed boots. The typical workweek is Monday through Friday (40 hours). Evening, night shift, overtime, and weekend work may be required in some branch offices.
