ABOUT THE ROLE
Sun City Solar is the Geraldton branch of Geniux Cleantech Group — one of Australia's fastest-growing renewable energy companies with 70 team members and branches in Perth, Geelong, Mildura and Geraldton. We're looking for a driven Commercial Solar Sales Representative to grow our presence across the Mid West region.
Geraldton and the Mid West is a market full of opportunity — from local businesses and construction firms through to retail, healthcare, schools, and government organisations. You'll be building real relationships across this diverse commercial landscape, delivering tailored solar and energy solutions that make a genuine difference to businesses' bottom lines. This is a high-impact role with strong earning potential, backed by a national brand and a dedicated support team.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Prospect and develop new commercial solar opportunities across Geraldton and the Mid West region
• Build relationships with businesses across key sectors — construction, retail, healthcare, education, hospitality, and more
• Conduct site assessments and present tailored solar and energy management solutions to commercial clients
• Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, quotes, and presentations
• Manage your pipeline through the full sales cycle — from initial enquiry to installation handover
• Leverage inbound leads from web enquiries, referrals, and cold outreach to maximise your pipeline
• Maintain accurate records and activity reporting through Zoho CRM
• Collaborate with operations and installation teams to ensure smooth project delivery




• Stay across government incentives, rebates, and industry trends relevant to commercial solar in WA
• Represent Sun City Solar at local networking events and within the Geraldton business community
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management — solar or energy sector experience highly regarded but not essential
• Strong ability to build trust and long-term relationships with commercial clients
• Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and the discipline to manage your own pipeline
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Comfortable with technology and CRM systems — experience with Zoho an advantage
• Local knowledge of Geraldton and the Mid West region is a genuine asset
• Current driver's licence
• Must hold full Australian work rights
