About the Role
As a Registered Nurse Level 2, you will be responsible for providing leadership and oversight of the care team while providing high-quality, person-centred nursing care that promotes positive outcomes for residents, as well as adhering to Arcare's values, policies, and professional clinical standards.
Staff Supervision:
Managing and leading a team of healthcare professionals, including nurses, caregivers and support staff.
Clinical Care:
Deliver high-quality nursing care, including health assessments, monitoring vital signs, and medication management
Wound Management:
Assess, treat, and manage wounds while preventing infection
Care Planning:
Develop and implement individualised care plans tailored to residents' needs
Assessment & Documentation:




Maintain accurate clinical records and document changes using eCase
Pain Management:
Identify and address pain concerns using appropriate strategies
Emergency Response:
Respond effectively to medical emergencies
End-of-Life Care:
Provide compassionate palliative and end-of-life support
What we're looking for
Min 2 years experience in a Supervisor role or Clinical Lead role within Aged Care
Current
AHPRA Registration
(
essential
)
Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.
Sound knowledge of Aged Care Accreditation Standards
Expertise in medication administration and wound care with a commitment to ongoing clinical excellence.
Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
Friendly, professional, and effective communication abilities
Capability to effectively lead.
