About the role
We are seeking an experienced
Senior Hairdresser
to join the team at House Of Hair On Kent in Busselton, WA. This is a
part-time position
that offers the perfect opportunity for a skilled hairdresser to lead, mentor and inspire whilst delivering exceptional service to our valued clients. As a Senior Hairdresser, you will play a crucial role in maintaining our reputation for excellence and helping to shape the direction of our salon's service delivery and client experience.
What you'll be doing
Providing high-quality hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling and treatments to a diverse clientele
Leading by example and mentoring junior stylists, offering guidance on techniques, client care and professional development
Building and maintaining strong client relationships through exceptional customer service and personalised care
Ensuring all work is completed to the highest standards, with attention to detail and precision
Staying current with the latest trends, techniques and products within the hair and beauty industry
Contributing to a positive and collaborative salon environment that prioritises teamwork and mutual support
Supporting the salon in achieving client satisfaction goals and maintaining our reputation for excellence
Assisting with stock management and salon cleanliness and hygiene standards
What we're looking for
A minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional hairdresser with demonstrated expertise in a range of services
A recognised hairdressing qualification and current accreditation or equivalent industry experience
Strong technical skills across cutting, colouring, styling and hair treatments
Proven ability to work effectively with clients, understanding their needs and delivering results that exceed expectations
Experience in mentoring or leading junior team members,



with a passion for supporting others' development
Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a team
A keen interest in current hair trends and a commitment to ongoing career development
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively in a busy salon environment
A professional approach to health, safety and salon hygiene standards
