Aspen Holidays – Paralowie
are seeking a personable, enthusiastic and self-motivated individual to for our maintenance team as a casual Grounds & Maintenance Attendant.
The Park is comprised of well-established lawns and gardens, two swimming pools, retirement living community, 150 permanent sites and cabins, 70+ tourist cabins, 50+ tourist caravan sites and eight tent sites, the park is large and versatile.
Applicants must have a background and passion for gardens and maintenance including experience with pruning, mowing, pool maintenance, painting, and general handyman tasks. Applicants also require a current driver's licence and must come with a strong work ethic.
Essential criteria:
At least 1-year proven experience in a similar role.
Ability to handle a range of horticultural machinery and powered hand tools.
Repairs and maintenance skills & experience.
Gardening/landscaping skills.
Friendly personality with excellent interpersonal skills.
Solid understanding of health and safety rules and legislation.
Prior holiday park or resort experience including Pool and Spa care and general maintenance would also be an advantage.
Able to follow direction
Ability to prioritise tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of team in a quick-paced work environment.
Have time management skills.
Have or able to obtain a valid police clearance.
This is a casual position across a 7-day week, with a requirement to cover the afterhours emergency on-call phones 2 - 3 nights per week, (accommodation provided) weekend work will be required on an alternating roster.
