Magic Mountain International Pty Ltd t/a Magic Hands Automotive and Crash Repair (located at *****A Hanson Road, Wingfield, SA ****) is currently seeking an experienced Motor Mechanic to join their team full time. Duties and Responsibilities:
Inspecting and assessing vehicles to accurately diagnose and repair mechanical issues, including dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering systems, and other components for thorough inspection and repair.
Using diagnostic tools and scanning equipment to identify faults in engine and electronic components.
Performing repairs and maintenance on vehicles based on diagnosed issues and repair estimates.
Assisting with safety inspections and performing necessary checks.
Carrying out routine vehicle maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and other preventive maintenance tasks,



while advising customers on any emerging concerns.
Providing detailed estimates for repairs and replacements and obtaining customer approval before proceeding with work, including replacement of gaskets, coolant, rotors, flushes, clutches, gearboxes, spark plugs, fluid replacements, and many other components.
Performing tyre fitting, tyre balancing, and flat tyre repairs.
Test driving vehicles after repairs to ensure mechanical soundness and identify any additional issues.
Keeping his own working station, tools, and equipment clean, organised, and in proper working condition.
Adhering to Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations, workplace safety standards, and best practices to maintain a safe working workplace for employees and customers.
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment that is free from hazards.
Applicants must have:
An Australian-recognised Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology (Light Vehicle) or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in automotive mechanical repairs and service.
Open Driver's License.
A salary of $80,000 - $85,000 will be offered to the successful candidate. Apply now through our online application form.
