The successful candidate will have:
A tertiary qualification in Business, Finance, Commerce, Accounting, or a related field
1+ year of accounting experience
Experience with Xero, HandiSoft, MYOB, and QuickBooks is desirable
Proficiency in English, with Chinese preferred
Valid Australian work rights
A positive and dependable attitude, with a willingness to be part of our team
A passion for learning and a strong desire to pursue the CPA or CA program is preferred
Skills and Experience
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail, together with effective time management and interpersonal skills
The ability to multitask effectively and meet deadlines
A dedicated team player with a strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and the ability to adapt to new technologies
About the Role
Working in a small team and assisting with general office duties
Liaising with the ATO and other authorities
Assisting with the preparation and processing of tax returns and financial statements
Preparing and lodging BAS and income tax returns




Communicating directly with clients and providing excellent customer service in a professional manner
Completing work within time budgets and turnaround times
Providing support to senior accountants as required
General accounting and bookkeeping duties
