We are seeking a motivated and mechanically minded
Manufacturing / Assembly Technician
to join our Yatala production team.
This is a hands-on role for someone who enjoys understanding how things work, working with machinery and tools, solving problems, and taking pride in producing quality products. While some tasks involve general manufacturing duties, we are particularly interested in people with strong mechanical aptitude and a genuine interest in manufacturing, engineering and fabrication.
As a Manufacturing Technician, you will be involved in a variety of manufacturing processes across our production facility, including:
• Product assembly and fabrication
• Operation of manufacturing equipment and machinery
• Use of hand tools and power tools
• Reading and following work instructions and drawings
• Quality inspections and testing
• Material handling and stock movement
• Picking, packing and dispatch activities
• Continuous improvement and problem-solving initiatives
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised work environment

Essential
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Reliable attendance and robust work ethic
• Ability to work safely within a manufacturing environment
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
Highly Regarded
• Manufacturing, assembly, fabrication or production experience
• Experience using hand tools and power tools
• Experience operating machinery or equipment
• Sheet metal, welding or fabrication experience
• Forklift Licence
• Current Driver's Licence
• Trade qualification or mechanical background
