At VMCH, our Allied Health team plays a vital role in supporting older people to live with dignity, independence, and wellbeing. Corpus Christi, our welcoming aged care residence in Clayton, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Allied Health Professional to join our multidisciplinary team for a 12-month parental leave contract.

About the role
In this role, you will:
Deliver high-quality, person-centered allied health services to residents
Conduct assessments, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions
Work collaboratively with nursing, lifestyle, and clinical teams to optimise resident outcomes
Support mobility, functional independence, pain management, and overall wellbeing
Maintain accurate documentation in line with Aged Care Quality Standards
Contribute to falls prevention, reablement, and restorative care programs
Build solid, respectful relationships with residents, families, and colleagues

About you
You will bring:
A recognised qualification in your allied health discipline
Current AHPRA or relevant professional registration
Experience in aged care, community health, or rehabilitation (preferred but not essential)
Strong assessment, communication, and clinical reasoning skills
A warm, empathetic approach and commitment to resident dignity
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
NDIS Worker Screening Check, and proof of work rights in Australia
