We have an exciting opportunity for a
Conveyancing & Contracts Administrator
to join our Legal team at Keyton.
This role can be based in either our
Sydney
or
Melbourne
offices and we welcome applicants from both locations to apply.
The Conveyancing & Contracts Administrator is responsible for providing contracts administration & conveyancing support to the Regional Operations and Sales Teams by managing the legal aspects of the resident exit/entry process, residence contracts and disclosure documents and other transaction agreements between Keyton and its residents.
Reporting to the Conveyancing & Contracts Administrator Team Leader, you will be tasked with undertaking a variety of duties and responsibilities, including:
Acting as a key contact with internal legal and external law firms for incoming conveyance communication, ensuring legal compliance and making sure all reservations and settlements are processed on time




Championing customer satisfaction and acting as a key legal contact for outgoing and incoming residents throughout the reservation, resale and settlement processes
Creation and review of residence contracts and other transaction agreements between the Company and its residents
Administration including billing, archiving, scanning originals, maintaining PoA register, and establishing, managing and maintaining electronic project files
Preparation of Exit Calculations in a timely manner
Prepare, review, and revise contracts, agreements, and legal documents
Identify and address potential legal issues in contract terms and conditions
Facilitate contract negotiations with purchasers and their solicitors
Maintain a centralized contract repository, ensuring all contracts are properly stored, categorized, and accessible
Monitor contract timelines, milestones, and renewal dates
Track contract performance and compliance with agreed terms
About You
To be successful in your application, you will have:
Technical or tertiary qualifications in
contracts
,
paralegal
or
business studies
(Essential)
Sound experience working in a
conveyancing environment
with an
understanding of property contracts
Excellent contract management skills
, including contract processing and administration and an understanding of basic contract requirements
Experience working within the
retirement living industry

Important Requirements
Successfully appointed applicants will be required to complete a Police Check & shall receive an annual flu vaccination between the months of May to November.
