Drill & Blast Crew Supervisor
The Role
Foxleigh Mine is seeking an experienced and safety-focused
Drill & Blast Supervisor
to join our Drill and Blast team.
Reporting to the Mine Services Superintendent, you will play a key leadership role in supervising and coordinating the protected, efficient and compliant execution of drill and blast activities across the mine operation.




The role provides an chance to lead a high-performing team, contribute directly to production outcomes and drive continuous improvement in safety, blast quality and operational performance.
Key Responsibilities Include:
Lead and supervise Drill & Blast crews to safely deliver daily production activities.
Ensure all blasting and explosives activities comply with legislative, statutory and site requirements.
Coordinate blast preparation, explosive loading, firing and post-blast inspections.
Work closely with Mining, Technical Services and Drill & Blast teams to ensure effective planning, communication and execution.
Drive a strong safety culture, accurate compliance and continuous improvement while demonstrating Foxleigh Mine's values.
About You
Current Open C Class Driver's Licence.
Standard 11 Surface Coal Induction.
S1, S2, S3 and G2 Supervisor Competencies (or ability to obtain).
Current Queensland Shotfirer's Licence (or ability to obtain).
Current Queensland Coal Mine Workers' Health Assessment.
Minimum 5 years' experience within an open-cut coal mining operation.
Previous experience supervising Blast Crew or Drill and Blast personnel.
