What you'll do:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst to join the Adelaide Corporate Finance team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller – FP&A;, you will play a key role in delivering group management reporting and analysis that supports strategic decision-making and provides valuable insights to senior leadership.
Working closely with finance and business stakeholders across the organisation, you will contribute to reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and business performance analysis while helping drive continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and support delivery of monthly executive management reporting for the group.
Maintain monthly Asset Performance Reports (APR), including variance analysis and commentary.
Support statutory reporting requirements, including financial statement and Board paper preparation.
Assist with monthly and quarterly close processes, management reporting, and Quarterly Business Review (QBR) submissions.
Partner with Business Unit Finance teams to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
Contribute to the preparation of annual budget process and periodic forecasts through financial modelling, trend analysis, and reporting.
Respond to ad hoc analysis requests from senior stakeholders.
Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency, enhance data quality, and support automation initiatives.
Ensure compliance with corporate governance, financial controls, and safety requirements.
What you'll bring:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related discipline.
Proven experience in Financial Analysis, FP&A;, Management Accounting, or a similar finance role.
Experience working within a large, complex organization.
Practical experience using SAP financial modules.
Proven ability to build solid relationships and effectively partner with business stakeholders.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and financial modelling skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
