AX Fasteners Pty Ltd is seeking an
Internal/Counter Salesperson
to join our team at our Midvale location. This is a
full-time position
based in
Midvale, WA ****
. As an Internal/Counter Salesperson, you will be the face of our business, providing exceptional customer service and product expertise to walk-in customers and phone enquiries. This role is fundamental to driving sales, building customer relationships, and ensuring customer satisfaction at our counter operations. You will be responsible for processing transactions, handling inventory queries.
Key responsibilities
Provide friendly, efficient and skilled customer service to walk-in customers and telephone enquiries
Process sales transactions accurately, including cash, card and account payments
Handle customer queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
Maintain an organised and presentable counter and display areas
Assist with stock management, including checking inventory levels and locating products for customers
Build and maintain positive relationships with regular customers to encourage repeat business
What we're looking for
Previous experience in a retail or customer-facing sales environment is highly desirable
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively
Numeracy skills and accuracy when handling transactions and managing financial records
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and during busy periods
Attention to detail and organisational skills to maintain counter areas and inventory systems




A positive attitude and willingness to support team members and contribute to a collaborative workplace
Flexibility and reliability, with the ability to commit to consistent full-time hours
Basic computer skills and experience using point-of-sale systems (desirable)
Knowledge of fasteners, hardware or trade products is a bonus but not essential
