Grin Creative is on the hunt for a talented, Melbourne-based senior designer to join our tight-knit team. You'll work closely with our designers, art directors and clients to deliver considered, tailored design solutions across branding, print and digital.
We're after an all-rounder. You are someone with a genuine flair for clever brand identity work, sharp typographic instincts, and solid experience in digital publishing. You're a fast learner who loves the craft, and you're just as comfortable presenting to a client as you are refining a grid.
What You'll Be Doing
Contributing across the full design process, from initial concept through to final artwork
Collaborating with the team on branding strategy and art direction
Producing visually striking, high-impact design across digital and print
Maintaining design consistency and a high bar of quality across every project
Staying on top of emerging tools, trends and best practice in the industry
What We're Looking For
7+ years' professional design experience
Experience with digital publishing platforms
Confident, hands-on skills in industry-standard design software (Adobe Creative Suite)
A strong grasp of design fundamentals — typography, colour theory, layout and composition
Sharp conceptual thinking and a knack for solving design problems
The ability to collaborate well and juggle deadlines without losing quality
Illustration and/or animation skills are a big plus
A good sense of humour and a genuine team-player attitude
