is proud to be partnering exclusively with Tilt Renewables to find their next Commercial Manager.
Tilt Renewables aims to be one of the leading developer, owner and managers of renewable energy generation assets in Australia. Tilt has 1.9GW of assets in operation and a development pipeline exceeding 5GW.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial, this is a pre-contracts focused role - covering tendering, negotiation and execution of project agreements through to Financial Close and construction start.
What you'll be doing
Laying the groundwork pre-tendering by staying close to project timelines, land agreements and planning approvals, and building relationships with OEMs, BOP contractors and TNSPs ahead of tender release, including pre-qualification on safety and track record
Running the tendering process through EOI, RFP and ITT, and preparing tender packages across major equipment supply, civil and electrical BOP, and O&M; scopes
Leading contracts negotiation by executing Preliminary Works Agreements with TNSPs, Early Works Agreements, and final long-form contracts with preferred OEMs and BOP contractors, working alongside the contract closing team and external legal advisors
Providing support for Financial Close through assisting with lender due diligence, managing Q&A; with advisors, and preparing board packs for FID
Keeping HSE and sound financial management practices embedded throughout
You'll work closely with Tilt's development, delivery, operations,
legal and finance teams, external legal and technical advisors, and key suppliers and contractors.
What you'll bring
Direct procurement/contracting experience with a developer, utility, OEM or major contractor - renewables background preferred, but candidates from broader infrastructure sectors (transport, water, energy transmission, major civil) are encouraged to apply
Senior level experience negotiating and executing complex project contracts for large-scale infrastructure or energy projects
Ability to manage multiple tendering and financial close processes concurrently, with solid document control
Sound understanding of relevant Australian standards and regulatory frameworks
A degree in Engineering, Finance or a related field
