About the Business - The Circle First - Nations
Entrepreneur Hub
On behalf of the South Australian
Government, the department leads the management and delivery of
Lot Fourteen, a $790 million flagship innovation district in
Adelaide's CBD and a key part of South Australia's Innovation
Places network. The cross-government project team is also
responsible for implementing the South Australia Innovation
Places Leadership Framework and overseeing the development of
Lot Fourteen.
As a worldclass innovation district, Lot Fourteen attracts
global technology firms, defence primes, startups, and leading
research institutes, building a strong reputation as a
strategic gateway to the Asia-Pacific region for high-growth
companies. The precinct brings together more than 160
organisations across defence, space, cyber, and critical
technologies, including Amazon Web Services, Salesforce, the
Australian Space Agency, the Australian Institute for Machine
Learning,
Stone & Chalk, and The Circle First Nations
Entrepreneur Hub.

Role Details
Reporting to the Manager, the
Events and Communications Officer will be responsible for
planning, coordinating and delivering communication and
engagement activities that support The Circle's strategic
objectives. The role will lead the development and
implementation The Circle's Communications Plan and create
high-quality content for The Circle's range of communication
and media channels. Working collaboratively with colleagues
across the Lot Fourteen team and external stakeholders, the
Events and Communications Officer will source, develop and
publish content for The Circle's digital and communication
platforms, including the website, LinkedIn, newsletters, fact
sheets and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency
and best-practice communication standards. The role will also
coordinate and deliver a program of events, including The
Circle's flagship First Nations Business Showcase, business
development initiatives and regional engagement activities.
Special Conditions
The Incumbent will be required to participate in the
department's Performance Management Program.
The Incumbent may be assigned to another position at this
remuneration level or equivalent.
Some work outside of normal hours will be required.
This role requires a working with children check.
This role requires a National Criminal History check.
