Responsibilities
Achieve optimal patient outcomes and objectives through effective leadership and direction.
Lead your people, including the theatres leadership team, identifying opportunities for development, learning, and improvement.
Build a cooperative working environment between members of a multi‐disciplinary team to create a high‐functioning, outcome‐focused unit.
Maintain professional standards of practice through the evaluation of services and the implementation of key strategies.
Ensure optimal procurement and allocation of resources, including recruitment and budgeting, to achieve service objectives.
What Makes a Difference for Us
5 or more years clinical experience within a perioperative environment.
Experience leading a high‐functioning multidisciplinary team.




Ability to lead a team to deliver contemporary, evidence‐based patient care.
Expertise and skills in managing a cost‐centre budget and people management.
Advocacy and contribution towards quality initiatives and improvements.
Bachelor of Nursing Degree or equivalent nursing qualification / AHPRA Registration.
Post‐Graduate Qualification in Clinical Speciality.
Post‐Graduate Qualification in Management highly desirable.
