Join SPS Commerce and be part of a dynamic team that's transforming the global retail supply chain!Position Summary:Job Summary: The Sr. Payroll Administrator is primarily responsible for overseeing payroll and related accounting processes, as well as all activities necessary to process accurate, timely, and compliant payroll in multiple states and countries. This role will work closely with Human Resources and Accounting teams, responding to employee and management inquiries regarding payroll, policies, and procedures.Essential Responsibilities / DutiesOversee monthly and semi-monthly payrolls for 1,000 APAC employees by collecting, calculating, and reviewing data in the HRIS systemEnsure successful completion of each payroll cyclePay all employee-related compensation accurately and timelyMaintain effective internal controls and business continuity plans for all payroll proceduresRespond to and maintain good relationships with employees, vendors, and colleaguesCommunicate on payroll–related interdependencies with cross-functional teams (e.g., Finance, HR)Keep payroll records organized and compliant with retention policiesDetermine payroll policies and procedures,
including identification of improvements in systems and processes used to enhance the employee experience and efficiencies in payroll administrationIdentify payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing informationProcess and reconcile year-end reporting and adjustments (e.g., allowances, stock compensation, year-end bonuses, fringe benefits, W-2s)Prepare monthly journal entries and reconciliations necessary to ensure payroll activity is properly recorded in the consolidated financial statementsTrain and mentor Payroll Assistants on payroll issues, reporting, taxes, etc.Minimum Requirements5+ years of related experience, such as administrative work or payroll supportExceptional numerical and data entry skills demonstrating speed and excellent attention to detailDemonstrated ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive informationEffective communication skills - both verbally and in writing, and business writing abilitiesBasic knowledge of payroll rules and policies, as well as general accounting principlesProficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and OutlookPreferred ExperienceBachelor's degree in Finance or AccountingMinimum of two (2) years of experience with HRIS systems involving HR and/or Payroll administrative supportExperience using ADP CelergoLocation:This role follows a fully remote work model and is open to candidates located anywhere in Australia.What We Offer:At SPS Commerce,

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.The annual salary range for this role is: $72,100 - $104,200 AUD.
