This is a client-side opportunity with a global data centre developer delivering a multi-billion-dollar precinct in Melbourne's western suburbs. With the major equipment and modular packages already procured, you'll take ownership of coordinating critical infrastructure including chillers, switchboards, generators, transformers and UPS systems from design and manufacture through to delivery, installation and commissioning.
Working closely with consultants, suppliers, contractors and the broader project team, you'll keep complex technical packages moving, coordinate stakeholders and ensure nothing falls through the cracks.
To be considered, you must have experience coordinating technical or major equipment packages and strong stakeholder management skills. You'll also need experience on data centres, hospitals, critical infrastructure, major industrial facilities or other services-heavy commercial projects where equipment integration and commissioning are a significant part of delivery. Experience coordinating equipment such as generators, transformers, switchgear or similar will be advantageous.
This role could suit someone currently working as a Project Engineer, Senior Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, Junior Project Manager or Project Manager who enjoys the technical and coordination side of complex projects.
