We're looking for an experienced
Boilermaker
to join our Operations team. If you're a trade-qualified professional who takes pride in producing quality work, values safety above all else, and enjoys working alongside a supportive crew, we'd love to hear from you.
Working in the mining and heavy industry sector, you'll be responsible for carrying out fabrication, welding repairs and maintenance on heavy equipment and machinery while maintaining the highest standards of safety, workmanship and teamwork.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Boilermaker, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Fabrication, maintenance and repair of mining and heavy earthmoving equipment
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Performing high-quality welding to customer and workplace specifications
Aluminium and mild steel welding, including GMAW and transition welding
Grinding, finishing and inspecting welds for quality and precision
Aligning, fitting and assembling metal components
Operating forklifts, overhead cranes and lifting equipment safely (where licensed)
Completing work orders, inspection reports and safety documentation accurately
Maintaining high housekeeping standards across the worksite
Mentoring and supporting apprentices where required
Working closely with Supervisors and team members to deliver work safely, efficiently and on schedule

Wear and maintain PPE in accordance with company standards
What You'll Bring
Essential
Certificate III Engineering (Fabrication Trade) or equivalent Boilermaker trade qualification
Current Class C Driver's Licence
Working at Heights certification
Confined Space certification
Minimum 2 years' experience in mining or heavy earthmoving maintenance
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
Highly Regarded
LR, MR or HR Driver's Licence
Forklift Licence
Dogging
Conduct Lifting Operations
Elevated Work Platform (EWP)
Overhead or Gantry Crane tickets
