About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated
Practice Nurse Manager
to join a busy medical practice on a permanent full-time basis. This leadership role is responsible for the operational management of the nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and efficient clinical operations.
Working closely with the Practice Manager and General Practitioners, you will lead, support, and mentor nursing staff while overseeing the day-to-day performance of the Treatment Room and clinical services.
Key Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance, and effective management to a team of Nurses.
Ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care across a range of clinical services.
Coach, train, and mentor nursing team members to support professional growth and optimal patient outcomes.
Oversee the effective operation of the Treatment Room, ensuring appropriate staffing levels and adherence to best practice procedures.
Assist General Practitioners with health assessments, care plans, and chronic disease management reviews.
Collaborate with the Practice Manager to support operational efficiency and achieve business objectives.
Monitor clinical standards, processes, and compliance requirements to maintain a high standard of care.
Foster a positive, patient-focused, and collaborative workplace culture.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Demonstrated leadership and people management experience within a healthcare setting.
Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
Previous experience in General Practice, Primary Care, or an Acute Care environment.
Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise competing demands.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
A patient-centred approach and genuine passion for delivering quality healthcare.
The ability to mentor, motivate, and develop team members.
