About The Role
As a Kinship Care Case Manager, you'll support children and young people in kinship care and the carers who help them thrive. Through regular engagement, you'll build strong, meaningful relationships while empowering carers to provide safe, nurturing and culturally connected homes. You'll play an important role in strengthening cultural understanding and supporting connections to Aboriginal family, community and culture.
About You
You are passionate about supporting children, families and carers to thrive. With a relationship focused and culturally responsive approach, you build trust, strengthen connections and help create positive outcomes for children in kinship care. You understand the importance of culture, identity and belonging, and are committed to supporting carers to deepen their cultural understanding and connections to Aboriginal community. Organised and collaborative, you can balance meaningful family engagement with effective case management,



advocacy and reporting to ensure children receive the care and support they need.
Qualifications:
Certificate, Diploma or Degree qualification in Community Services, Social Worker and/or substantial experience in these fields is desirable.
Requirements: Valid Police Check, a Victorian Working with Children's Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence. Current COVID-19 vaccination (Strongly Recommended)
