About the role
Team Global Express is currently seeking an experienced MC Driver to join our team in Emerald. This is a permanent full-time opportunity for a safety-focused driver who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and maintaining high professional standards on the road.
In this role, you will be responsible for completing scheduled pick-ups and deliveries across the region, ensuring freight is transported safely, efficiently, and within designated timeframes.
Key responsibilities include:
Completing pick-ups and deliveries in accordance with operational schedules and customer requirements
Safely operating a range of automatic and manual heavy vehicles
Conducting thorough pre-start and vehicle safety inspections
Ensuring freight is loaded, restrained, and transported in line with company and safety requirements
Correctly using load restraint equipment,



including straps and chains where required
Following all company policies, procedures, and safe work practices
Reporting hazards, near misses, incidents, and safety concerns in a timely manner
Maintaining accurate documentation and compliance requirements
Contributing to a positive team culture with a strong commitment to safety and customer service
At Team Global Express, 82% of our employees believe our remuneration is competitive or above industry standards. In recognition of the unique operating environment in Emerald, we offer a Location Allowance in addition to your standard hourly rate.
The successful applicant will also receive 15% superannuation, with the Location Allowance applying to all ordinary hours worked.
