Opal Fibre Packaging ANZ manufactures cardboard box packaging solutions aligned with the circular economy to meet the needs of its customers with a focus on sustainability and innovation. We have an exciting opportunity for 2 experienced shift supervisors (one on day shift and one on afternoon shift) to join the team at our manufacturing site in Revesby, NSW.
The key focus of the Shift Supervisor roles will be:
Lead and coordinate the production activities of the site to achieve the most effective outcome in support of the business objectives
Manage teams within a rapid-paced manufacturing environment
Oversee the production planning process to meet customer requirements and to optimize production efficiencies
Ensuring that SOPs are being followed through regular checks
Maintain a visible presence on the floor to ensure accessibility by employees, and provide a satisfactory level of supervision
Ensure an open, direct and with respect communication is practiced across the site




Drive a safety-first culture and achieve outperformance against all safety targets

We are looking for driven and energetic candidates who have:
Proven experience in overseeing operations within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Well-developed leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and coach experienced team members
A leader who has a strong sense of drive / urgency with an energetic personality
Ability to build and maintain relationships with stakeholders across all levels
Experience leading/ supervising teams on a unionized site
Organisational skills - influencing, problem solving, solid project management and time management skills, decision making, goal setting, and cost management
Prior experience delivering successful teams and fostering a continuous improvement environment
