We are seeking to appoint an experienced General Manager of Construction to join our executive leadership team. The position is full-time and can be based out of our head office in Mulwala NSW or our Bendigo office in VIC.
As a member of the executive leadership team, this role ensures alignment between project management, site supervision, procurement, and warehousing, translating strategic objectives between construction execution, commercial objectives, and organisational strategy.
Qualifications:
Tertiary qualifications in a related field and or industry
Current Driver's Licence
Skills required:
A minimum 5 years of experience in a General Management or Operations Management role.
Senior construction leadership experience in a project-based environment.
Strong understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing, and site management.
Experience leading multi-site construction teams.
WHS knowledge and risk management capability.
Operational leadership, decisive decision-making capabilities and outcome focused mindset.
High emotional intelligence and leadership qualities
Robust communicator across site, management, executive and operational teams.
Advanced computer literacy and Microsoft Skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills




Excellent numeracy skills
Responsibilities:
Provide leadership across all construction operations, ensuring consistent delivery
standards are maintained and improved.
Oversee project programming, sequencing, and resource allocation across all sites.
Ensure construction activities align with contract scope, program, and budget.
Drive productivity, accountability, and performance across construction teams.
Act as the executive escalation point for delivery, quality, or site performance issues.
