Requirement Overview:
The Scrum Master is responsible for providing Agile/SCRUM mentoring to the team/organisation and facilitating implementation of agile methodologies. Works closely with the team manager to manage work, deliver value to the business and help to optimise the performance of the team. The position will also assist with implementing Agile practices/methodologies for planning and prioritising of work at the portfolio/program level and work with the business stakeholders to provide them with guidance around Agile practices. .
Key Skills & Experience:
1.



Broad experience as a Scrum Master within a software applications development team, ideally in a Dev Ops environment
2. Robust written, verbal and presentation skills, capable of inspiring and negotiating with others in a consultative and collaborative communication style.
3. Skills and knowledge of facilitation, continuous improvement, ability to empower others, transparency and servant leadership
4. Experience in management of a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders to ensure collaborative work practices.
5. Demonstrated ability to lead through influence, without excessive authority.
6. Knowledge of agile approaches - Kanban, Scrum, XP, etc.
7. Knowledge and experience with agile techniques - Automated Testing, User Stories, TDD, Continuous Integration, Testing, Pair Programming etc.
8. Experience with large organisational level agile transformations will be highly regarded
9. Current knowledge of software related IT trends
10. Demonstrated ability to exercise a high degree of independent problem solving and creative thinking, and a proven capacity to plan, prioritise and implement strategies for a large and complex organisation.
11. A relevant certification in scrum and/or agile methodologies
