As we continue to grow, we're looking for a skilled Draft Engineer to join our engineering team and contribute to the design and development of our products.The RoleAs our Draft Engineer, you'll play a key role in translating engineering concepts into accurate technical drawings and specifications that guide our manufacturing processes. You'll work closely with engineers, production staff, and clients to ensure designs are exact, practical, and production-ready.Key ResponsibilitiesProduce detailed technical drawings, schematics, and 3D models using CAD softwareInterpret engineering specifications and translate them into accurate manufacturing drawingsCollaborate with design engineers and production teams to refine and finalise designsEnsure all drawings comply with relevant industry standards and company specificationsMaintain accurate documentation and drawing revision controlAssist with troubleshooting design issues during the manufacturing processLiaise with suppliers and clients on technical specifications as requiredSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the drafting and design processWhat We're Looking ForDiploma or Degree in Engineering, Drafting, or a related field (or equivalent experience)Proven experience as a Draft Engineer, Draftsperson, or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing environmentProficiency in CAD software (e.g. SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Inventor, or similar)Strong understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processesHigh attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and collaboration skillsAbility to manage multiple projects and meet deadlinesA proactive, problem-solving mindsetWhat We OfferFull-time, stable position with a well-established Gold Coast manufacturing firmCompetitive salary based on experienceSupportive team environment with opportunities for career growthModern facilities and up-to-date design softwareConvenient Gold Coast locationInterested - Send me a copy of your CV.
