About the role
Metric Kitchens Pty Ltd is seeking a talented Interior Design and Architect to join our energetic team in Holden Hill, SA. As a fulltime/ part-time role, this position offers the flexibility to work on a variety of exciting kitchen and residential design projects. You will play a crucial part in shaping the aesthetic and functionality of our clients' dream spaces.
What you'll be doing
Collaborating with clients to understand their design needs and preferences
Producing detailed design plans, sketches, and 3D renderings to bring client visions to life
Selecting and specifying finishes, fixtures, and furnishings that complement the overall design
Overseeing the execution of design plans to ensure adherence to project requirements
Providing expert advice and guidance to clients throughout the design and installation process
Staying up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices
What we're looking for
Degree or diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in residential or commercial interior design
Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp,
and Adobe Creative Suite
Strong technical knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods
Excellent communication and client-facing skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
A creative, problem-solving mindset and attention to detail
