About the role
Impress Promotions is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented
Trainee Embroiderer
to join our creative team. This is a full-time position based in Evanston, SA ****. As a Trainee Embroiderer, you will be learning the intricate art of industrial embroidery whilst working alongside experienced professionals. This role is fundamental to developing the next generation of skilled craftspeople within our organisation, and you will play an important part in delivering high-quality embroidered garments and textiles to our clients.
What you'll be doing
Operating embroidery machines under the guidance of senior embroiderers
Preparing garments and textiles for embroidery work, ensuring materials are correctly positioned and secured
Following embroidery designs and patterns accurately to produce detailed and precise work
Maintaining and caring for embroidery equipment, including regular cleaning and basic troubleshooting
Learning about different embroidery techniques, thread types, and finishing methods
Quality checking finished embroidery work to ensure it meets company standards
Assisting with the organisation and management of embroidery materials and supplies
Communicating effectively with the wider team to understand project requirements and deadlines
What we're looking for
A genuine interest in embroidery and textile craftsmanship with a commitment to learning and developing skills
Excellent attention to detail and precision in your work
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
The ability to follow instructions carefully and ask questions when clarification is needed
A collaborative attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Reliability and punctuality




Physical capability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive hand and arm movements
