Nestle Gympie Factory are seeking a Line Technician (Mechanical) to perform maintenance inspection/repair/overhaul, work orders and attending to operational issues/failures.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:
Relevant trade qualifications (Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade) & developed technical aptitude.
Robust mechanical fault-finding ability on high-speed machinery.
Physical capability for manual handling.
A focus on continuous improvement and structured problem solving.
Self-motivated with a proven ability to work with minimum supervision.
Comprehensive numeracy, literacy, and communication skills.
An ability to multi-task and deliver repeatable accurate results.
A reliable team player and the ability to be flexible and adapt at short notice.
Competent in the use of MS Office suite of Programs: and
Intermediate working skillset in SAP.
Desirable Criteria:
Leadership and team management experience
Welding and light fabrication experience
Confined Space licence
Safe working at height experience/license
Experience in Fill and Packing machinery.
