Industrial Spray Painter and Blaster Wanter
Our client is seeking an experienced Industrial Spray Painter to join their workshop team, preparing and painting heavy mining and earthmoving equipment to a high standard.
This role would suit a qualified Spray Painter, or an experienced painter with strong industrial, automotive, or heavy equipment experience looking to transition into the heavy engineering sector. Trade qualifications are highly regarded but not essential, with proven experience, quality workmanship and the right attitude valued.
About the Company
Our client is a leading WA heavy engineering business specialising in the repair, refurbishment and manufacture of mining and earthmoving equipment.
Operating from a contemporary Perth workshop, they deliver high-quality maintenance, fabrication and industrial painting services to the mining and construction industries. With a strong focus on quality workmanship and safety, they provide a qualified workshop environment for skilled tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
Surface preparation, including sanding, masking and priming of heavy equipment
Spray painting mining and earthmoving machinery
Applying high-quality paint finishes to meet client and workshop standards
Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently
Maintaining a high level of workmanship and attention to detail
Following workshop procedures and quality requirements
What We're Looking For
Previous industrial spray-painting experience preferred




Automotive Spray Painters with strong preparation and finishing skills encouraged to apply
Experience with large equipment, machinery or heavy vehicles highly regarded
Competent across all aspects of spray painting and surface preparation
Trade qualification preferred but not essential
Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
Current Driver's Licence and reliable transport essential
What's On Offer
Monday to Friday workshop-based position
6:00am starts
Approximately 10-hour shifts
Occasional Saturday work available based on operational requirements
