An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced, passionate and child focussed Early Childhood Diploma Qualified educator to join the team at Adelaide Campus Children's Centre. In this full-time role (38 hours per week) you contribute to planning experiences and documenting learning and development for children in our toddler room (18 months-3 years). Based in the heart of the CBD on campus at the University of Adelaide (North Terrace Campus), this position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact on the lives of young children and their families.
Our operating hours are 8am – 6pm. We are fortunate to be located in a beautiful cultural precinct surrounded by the Museum, State Library, Adelaide Zoo and SA Art Gallery, providing our children and educators with endless learning opportunities.

Position to commence

The successful Early Childhood Educator will:
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
Show strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Build strong relationships with children and their families to ensure individualised care and support.
Demonstrate a strong understanding of the EYLF and NQF and have previous experience developing Individual Learning Plans and planning learning experiences.
Document children's learning and development and communicate regularly with families.
Support the holistic development of young children.
Provide a nurturing, stimulating and safe setting that supports children's holistic development.
Essential requirements:
Diploma of Early Childhood Education and care or equivalent, recognised by ACECQA.
Current First Aid Certificate, including asthma and anaphylaxis training.
Current satisfactory Working with Children Check (WWCC).
Current Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect (RRHAN-EC) training.
Current Mandatory Child Safety Training.
