We are looking to recruit a 0.4 FTE consultant physician in rehabilitation medicine to be part of our dynamic team at Calvary Kogarah.

About the role
Within the framework of the mission, vision, philosophy and policies of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary, the Staff Specialist is responsible for the provision and documentation of safe, effective and appropriate patient centred medical care in a team-based environment.
About you
Medical Degree and Current Unconditional General Medical Practitioner Registration with AHPRA
Fellow of the Australasian Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine (Royal Australasian College of Physicians) or equivalent.
Demonstrated high level of organisational, communication and interpersonal skills including the ability to consult with patients and their families, the multidisciplinary health care team and broader internal and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and ability to work independently in a complex environment utilising skills, judgement and expertise to provide a high standard of patient care and broader internal and external stakeholders.
Interest and experience in teaching and education of junior medical staff and other members of the multidisciplinary team
Evidence of participation in Continuing Medical Education,



undertaking Education and self‐monitoring/audit practices that support credentialing to the position and are commensurate with the scope of practice requirements of the position
Ability to work within the Mission and Values of Calvary Health Care Kogarah
