Clark Equipment Sales Pty Ltd a distributor of construction, materials handling and agricultural equipment currently has a Trainee Parts Interpreter/Yards Person position available at its Cairns Branch.
Skilled Parts Interpreters are also encouraged to apply.
This is a key role working closely with retail customers and our internal sales and service team to ensure that all parts are correctly identified, warehoused and made available in an accurate and timely manner.
What we require:
TRAINEE PARTS INTERPRETER – GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS:
➢ Provide productive response to client enquires and adequate coverage through the working week.
➢ Maintain effective communications within the Branch organisation.
➢ Liaise with Parts Manager on any WHS issues as they arise.
➢ Operate within policy guidelines referring any extraordinary matters to the appropriate level.
➢ Conduct spare parts sales and warehousing activities as appropriate.



Liaise with customers to ensure good will is maintained.
➢ Conduct spare parts stores activities to include frequent receiving, binning and dispatching of parts.
➢ Process dealer and customer enquiries regarding price and availability, short shipments and freight issues.
➢ Ensure customers receive same day response on all enquiries.
➢ Participate in regular stock takes, as directed.
➢ Maintain showroom to high standards.
➢ Maintain appropriate files of all required parts documents.
YARDS PERSON - GENERAL FUNCTIONS & TASKS:
➢ Maintains yard and warehouse in a clean and tidy manner.
➢ Move and store machinery as instructed.
➢ Operate the forklift in a safe manner.
