Creditors Clerk
Minimum Qualifications / Experience
Education: Grade 12 (Matric) with Accounting and Mathematics. A tertiary qualification (Certificate/Diploma in Bookkeeping or Accounting) is highly advantageous. Experience: 2 to 3 years of proven experience in a dedicated creditors or accounts payable role. Skills: Solid computer literacy with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency. Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Sage, Pastel, or Xero) is a plus. Attributes: High attention to detail, deadline-driven, and excellent analytical problem-solving skills Must have a valid driver's license Must be based in or willing to relocate to Kathu/surrounding Northern Cape areas
Duties And Responsibilities (not Limited To)
Reconciliations:
Perform monthly supplier statement reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies or queries. Invoice Processing: Accurately capture, verify, and process supplier invoices and credit notes. Payment Runs: Prepare payment packs and assist with processing payments (EFTs, cashbook). Age Analysis: Monitor the creditors' age analysis and escalate long-outstanding amounts. Admin & Compliance: Maintain audit-ready filing systems and ensure all transactions align with VAT regulations.
