About the role
The Associate Director, Planning, Data and Analytics is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving data-informed decision making and evidence-informed health service planning across Healthy North Coast. Leading a high-performing team, the successful candidate will oversee data governance,



analytics, health needs assessments, planning for outcomes and value, performance reporting while building organisational capability in data use and data-informed leadership. Representing Healthy North Coast at state and national levels, this role offers the opportunity to shape healthcare planning, foster collaboration across Primary Health Networks and with partners, and deliver meaningful insights that improve health outcomes for communities across the region.
About you
To excel in this position, you will have / bring:
Knowledge and experience: in data governance, privacy impact assessments, statistics and analysing data to inform decision making and services planning
Analytical thinking: The ability to make sense of information and draw logical conclusions
Delegating: The preparedness and ability to ensure work is distributed appropriately to team members
Coaching: The capacity to work closely with individuals to improve their competence and performance
Commercial awareness: The comprehension of the factors important to commercial success and business performance
Communicating: The ability to tailor spoken/written communication to ensure the desire message is both given and received
People leadership: The ability to manage, develop, support and coach people to achieve success
Knowledge of and commitment to Work Health and Safety, Equal Employment Opportunity, Cultural Safety, and Continuous Improvement principles
Relevant post graduate qualification in computer science, epidemiology, statistics or health services planning and/or equivalent management experience.
