Job Description
Lead and manage Production and Warehouse teams, providing direction, support, and development
Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and implement quality, safety, health, and environmental systems
Oversee safe and efficient operation of plant and equipment, including hazard analyses and preventive maintenance programmes
Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands whilst managing costs and resources efficiently
Monitor productivity, investigate downtime issues, and collaborate with staff to identify and implement process improvements
Coordinate logistics for product deliveries and manage purchase orders for projects and maintenance work
Assess and maintain a register of approved contractors; supervise on‐site contractors to ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards
Support the QC Laboratory to ensure compliance with product and environmental standards
Maintain comprehensive records related to plant maintenance, repairs, and modifications
Promote waste minimisation, efficient use of raw materials (FIFO), and maintain high housekeeping standards across the site
Conduct Toolbox meetings and routine staff communications; participate in internal audits and risk assessments
Ensure timely processing of administrative documentation and support site security measures
Report on operational performance, including safety, environmental metrics, and KPIs
Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager
Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar manufacturing or operations setting
Demonstrated experience in assisting or leading site operations effectively
Background in production and warehouse operations
Attention to detail, analytical and problem‐solving abilities
Experience with ERP software packages and Microsoft Office programs
