Purpose
To support the day-to-day supply chain function by ensuring stock is received, picked, packed, dispatched, transferred, counted and recorded accurately.
This role keeps the physical flow of parts aligned with the system records so Manufacturing, Field Operations, Parts, Procurement and Finance can rely on accurate stock information.
Role Function
The Supply Chain Officer is a practical, hands-on role responsible for receipting, dispatch, stock movements, warehouse accuracy, housekeeping, stocktakes, Kanban support and system updates.
The role supports the Supply Chain Lead, Parts Coordinator and Procurement Coordinator by keeping stock visible, correctly located and properly recorded across SwarmFarm's supply chain systems.
Skills, Attributes & Experience
Essential
Experience in warehouse, inventory, parts, dispatch, receipting, stock control or operational support.
Valuable practical understanding of stock movement, stock locations and basic inventory discipline.
Comfortable using inventory, warehouse or ERP systems.
Able to work with internal teams and follow process accurately.
Highly regarded




Experience in agriculture, machinery, robotics, automotive, manufacturing, mining, defence or field service environments.
Experience with Unleashed, Cin7, Hive or similar inventory systems.
Forklift, warehouse, dispatch or freight coordination experience.
Personal attributes for success
Practical, organised, accurate, reliable, calm under pressure, good with systems, willing to ask questions, prepared to follow process and comfortable doing the hands-on work that keeps the whole supply chain honest.
Key Accountabilities
Receipting, Dispatch and Stock Movement
Receive supplier deliveries and ensure stock is checked, receipted and located correctly.
Pick, pack and dispatch internal and external parts orders accurately and on time.
Process stock transfers between locations, including support for Field Operations vehicles and other SwarmFarm sites.
Ensure all physical stock movements are reflected accurately in the agreed systems.
Inventory Accuracy and Stocktakes
Support monthly stocktakes across all required locations, including Field Operations vehicles.
Support weekly rolling Manufacturing stocktakes covering 25% of stock items where required.
Assist with cycle counts, recounts and stock investigations.
Identify and escalate stock variances, damaged parts,



missing parts or location issues promptly.
Warehouse, Kanban and Housekeeping
Maintain clean, organised and clearly labelled stock locations.
Support Kanban stock accuracy and replenishment visibility.
Ensure parts are stored safely, logically and in a way that makes them easy to identify and retrieve.
Help maintain practical warehouse discipline without making the process harder than the job itself.
System Updates and Traceability
Maintain accurate receipting, dispatch, transfer and location information in the agreed systems.
Support Unleashed, Cin7, Hive or other system updates as required by the supply chain process.
Ensure stock is allocated to the correct customer, robot, job, warranty activity, R&D; use or stock location.
Capture and record R&D; supply chain consumption when parts are issued for R&D; use.
Team Support
Support the Parts Coordinator with customer orders, service kits, field stock and urgent dispatch requirements.
Support the Procurement Coordinator with supplier deliveries, returns, transfers and order follow-up where required.
Support Manufacturing and Field Operations by helping locate parts, prepare stock and communicate supply issues.
Escalate process gaps, training needs or recurring issues to the Supply Chain Lead.
