General duties
:
assisting with potting machines, seeding machines, bagging machines, transplanting machines, grading machines, etc
assisting with spray application
cleaning
general/labouring duties
irrigation
labelling, stacking and preparation of stock for sale
mixing soil, container filling, container assembly
moving plants
order selection and assembly
packing shelves
packing plants and seedlings
picking and grading
potting
spacing and moving plants
transplanting
unloading/receiving materials
using towing and/or carry-all vehicles etc.
watering and weeding
Key Selection Criteria
Ability to take direction and complete tasks promptly
Willingness to learn
Ability to complete repetitive tasks with a positive outlook
Ability to complete work that may be physically demanding
Work indoors and outdoors (hot/cold weather)
Use and care for tools and equipment
Driver's license (preferred)
Horticultural qualification (If any)
