Role Description The Research and Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role based in Lindenow, VIC, working closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing and developing new antenna products, improving existing products, and conducting research into RF communication and broadcasting technologies. The role involves planning and executing laboratory and field testing, analysing performance data, and translating findings into design improvements and product specifications. The engineer collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to move concepts from prototype to production, ensures products meet quality and regulatory standards,



and prepares technical documentation, test reports, and implementation guidelines.
QualificationsStrong analytical skills, including data interpretation, problem-solving, and performance evaluation.Experience in Research and Development (R&D;) and product development, ideally within RF, telecommunications, or related hardware domains.Background in research and testing, including planning experiments, validating designs, and documenting test outcomes.Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Telecommunications, or a closely related field.Familiarity with RF systems, antennas, and electromagnetic principles, with practical design or simulation experience (e.g., CAD, EM modelling tools).Ability to work in office in a manufacturing environment, collaborating effectively with technical and production teams.Strong written and verbal communication skills for technical documentation and cross-functional coordination.Experience with quality assurance processes, industry standards, and safety practices in engineering environments is an advantage.
