Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced
High Voltage Technician
to join Powertech supporting our Brisbane branch office on a
Full-Time permanent
basis.

About The Role
Commissioning and testing HV protections systems.
Commissioning and testing HV Plant.
Commissioning and Testing Power Generation Systems.
Protection Relay Testing.
HV Primary and secondary system testing in a substation environment.
Assist in preparation of commissioning/testing documentation, test plans and create detailed technical reports on completion of works.
Carry out JSHAs etc. prior to commencing any recent works to identify hazards and implement the necessary controls.
Knowledge of HV/LV Transformer Testing (i.e. Tan Delta/Turns Ratio/SFRA/Dirana/Voltage Ratio/Winding Resistance, Oil Sampling)
About You
Unrestricted QLD Electrical Fitter and Mechanic Workers License.
Minimum 2years' experience.
Valid Driver's License.
HV Switching Ticket preferred.
Knowledge of appropriate Australian Standards.
Proven ability meeting project quality, schedule, and budget requirements.
Ability to promote a high standard of safety, professionalism, and effective communication with both internal and external stakeholders.
