About the role
Roleystone Family Medical Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Practice Nurse to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Practice Nurse, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of high-quality healthcare to our patients in Roleystone.
What you'll be doing
Providing direct nursing care to patients, including administering medications, conducting medical examinations, and monitoring patient progress.
Collaborating with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualised care plans for patients
Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records
Assisting with the triage of patients and providing immediate care for those with urgent medical needs
Educating patients and their families on chronic disease management, treatment options, and preventive health measures.
Participating in continuous professional development to stay up-to-date with the latest nursing practices and medical advancements
What we're looking for
Practice Nurse with a current AHPRA registration
Minimum 1 year experience in a general medical or surgical nursing role
Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team




Proficient in documentation and maintaining accurate medical records
Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centred care
Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Demonstrated understanding of relevant nursing regulations and standards of practice
