Bring ideas to life. Shape stories that matter. Design for healthier communities.
CCQ is looking for a Creative Content Designer who can turn complex ideas into clear, compelling and beautifully executed creative.
This is a hands-on, design-led role for someone who enjoys the full creative journey: unpacking a brief, asking smart questions, developing concepts, producing polished assets and adapting quickly as priorities shift.
We're after a creative all-rounder with strong design craft, curiosity, sound judgement and the confidence to take an idea through to finished delivery.
If you are energised by variety, enjoy collaborating with people who care about their communities and want your creative work to contribute to something bigger, we want to hear from you.
About the role
Working within CCQ's Strategic Marketing and Communications team, you will deliver creative across a broad mix of channels and formats, including brand and campaign development, publications, reports, presentations, websites, digital content, social media, signage, short-form video and data visualisation.
You will work directly with internal stakeholders to understand their objectives and audiences, shape the most effective creative response and guide work through review, production and delivery. You will also help steward CCQ's brand and suite of sub-brands, improve creative workflows and bring contemporary design thinking, emerging formats and AI-assisted production into the team's work.
You will bring three to five years' experience across print and digital design, supported by a strong portfolio and advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Experience with Premiere Pro or After Effects,
Microsoft 365 template design across PowerPoint and Word, web design using WordPress and Elementor and accessible design will support your success in the role. Familiarity with Canva, Figma and AI tools used for creative concept development and production will also be valued.
Just as importantly, you will be able to ask the right questions, explain your creative thinking, respond constructively to feedback and manage multiple priorities without compromising quality.
