Cabra Dominican College is seeking an outstanding candidate for the position of Personal Assistant to Student Wellbeing Team to commence as soon as possible.
The position is permanent for 37.5 hours per week and 42 weeks per year.
About You
You are a highly organised and professional administrator who thrives in a busy school environment and is passionate about supporting student wellbeing outcomes. You bring exceptional interpersonal skills, sound judgement, and the ability to manage confidential information with discretion and sensitivity.
Proven experience providing high-level administrative or personal assistant support in a complex environment.
Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to interact confidently with students, families, staff and external stakeholders.
Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential matters with professionalism, discretion and integrity.
Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritise competing demands and meet deadlines.
A collaborative team player who can work independently, show initiative and adapt to changing priorities.
Commitment to the values, mission and vision of Cabra Dominican College and a willingness to deepen understanding of the Dominican charism.
Key Requirements
The Personal Assistant to the Student Wellbeing Team plays a pivotal role in supporting the Deputy Principal: Student Wellbeing and Leadership and broader wellbeing team through expert administration, coordination and communication.
Provide administrative support,
including diary management, correspondence, report preparation and meeting coordination.
Support Student Wellbeing functions through the administration of student records, wellbeing data, attendance and engagement reporting, and confidential documentation management.
Prepare agendas, take minutes and provide secretarial support for committees, meetings and special projects as required.
Assist with student wellbeing, leadership and pastoral care events, camps, orientation activities and related communications.
Produce high-quality documents, presentations, reports, certificates and other materials using Microsoft Office and school information systems such as SEQTA (or similar platforms).
